According to reports, Animoca Brands announced a collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) and Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) to participate in the sandbox program launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in March this year. The three companies outlined their respective roles in the project. HKT will focus on exploring how stablecoin innovation can support local and cross-border payments, aiming to bring greater benefits to consumers and merchants. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) will actively participate in the sandbox, exploring the most effective ways to support the development of Hong Kong's digital asset ecosystem. The bank will also delve into studying how the evolution of stablecoin markets brings opportunities and risks to this ecosystem. Meanwhile, Animoca Brands is committed to promoting the widespread use of digital assets, integrating blockchain-related technological solutions into physical assets and traditional economies.
