The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, the Dow fell 0.75%, the Nasdaq rose 1.26%, the S&P 500 index rose 0.4%, most of the popular technology stocks rose, Nvidia rose more than 6%, ending three consecutive days of decline, Google, Meta, Tesla rose more than 2%. Semiconductors, automakers, travel services rose, Carnival Cruise Lines, Rivian rose more than 8%, Arm rose more than 6%, Norwegian Cruise Lines rose more than 5%, Collette, Toyota Motor rose more than 3%, Asmax, Micron Technology rose more than 2%.
