Former Weta Digital CEO to serve as new CEO of Stability AI

According to a report from The Information, Prem Akkaraju will now serve as the new CEO of Stability AI, known for its image-generating platform Stable Diffusion. Akkaraju is the former CEO of visual effects company Weta Digital. Stability AI founder and former CEO Emad Mostaque resigned in March to focus on his new startup Schelling AI. Chief Operating Officer Shan Shan Wong and Chief Technology Officer Christian Laforte are managing the company during this time.
