LayerZero Launches Proof of Donation Claiming Mechanism and Donates $18.5 Million to Protocol Guild

LayerZero has launched a new claiming mechanism called "Donation Proof", which will donate up to $18.5 million to Protocol Guild, a collective funding mechanism for Ethereum Layer 1 developers.To claim ZRO, users must donate USDC, USDT, or native ETH worth $0.10 per ZRO, and this small donation will be directly donated to Protocol Guild. According to Protocol Guild's on-chain contract, the donations received by Protocol Guild will be redeemed within four years. The LayerZero Foundation will match all donations, up to a maximum amount of $10 million.
