Fed cautiously optimistic about economic outlook
The Federal Reserve's brown book on economic conditions showed that overall U.S. economic activity has grown since late February. Overall, contact targets were cautious about the economic outlook. On average, price gains were moderate and roughly the same as the last reported rate of growth, and contact targets expected inflation to remain stable at a slow pace, with a few area manufacturers seeing upward risks to inflation in the near term.
