According to DeepChao TechFlow news, the modular Layer 2 network Mantle announced the completion of the mainnet v2 Tectonic upgrade, which is based on OP Stack Bedrock, improving the cost-effective platform and strengthening interoperability with other EVM chains.
This upgrade makes the following adjustments:
EIP-1559 Support: Support for EIP-1559 improves transaction fee price auctions, stabilizes block utilization, and enhances network security.
Remove redundant components: Mantle Network is streamlined and efficiency is improved.
Predictable block times: A block is generated every two seconds, improving node performance.
Block status flags: Added flags for block and block header status.
L2 native token migration: The MNT token is now the native asset of Mantle Network L2, improving liquidity.
Meta transaction: Meta transaction is introduced, which lowers the barriers for users to get started.
Fee optimization strategy: The fee strategy is optimized by using the tokenRatio parameter.
