Avalanche announces Durango upgrade, introduces Teleporter to enhance subnet interoperability
The Avalanche development team has released the Durango upgrade and launched "Teleporter" to enhance interoperability within its subnet ecosystem. It is reported that Teleporter aims to unify specific application chain networks of Avalanche, addressing network fragmentation issues. It is built on Avalanche Warp Messaging (AWM) and supports EVM-compatible subnets, especially C Chain. Patrick O'Grady, Vice President of Platform Engineering at Ava Labs said: "With the activation of the Durango upgrade on the Avalanche mainnet, subnets can now use AWM for local communication with C Chain. Teleporter encapsulates this new feature in an EVM-compatible interface so Solidity developers can trigger any contract call within any Avalanche subnet."
