Tether's growing dominance bad for crypto ecosystem: JPMorgan analysts
Analysts at JPMorgan, led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, wrote in a report, "Tether faces the greatest risk due to a lack of regulatory compliance and transparency. As a result, we believe Tether's growing dominance over the past year has been detrimental to the stablecoin space and the broader crypto ecosystem." Analysts said Tether's growing market share and regulatory uncertainty pose downside risks to the market.
