$BTC $ATOM ATOM | Internal Trend Builds Toward the Pool
By analyzing the ATOM (Cosmos Hub) chart on the 4H timeframe, we can see a market whose main uptrend never broke, corrected into its protected low, and has since built a second trend inside the first — one that points at a single pool of liquidity overhead.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
4H TIMEFRAME — THE MAIN STRUCTURE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The larger trend has been bullish since mid-August. Two BOS events set it — the first near $1.60, the second through $1.71 — and the low that was defended to create them is the Protected Low at $1.436.
Price then spiked to $2.031 on September 9 and sold off hard. That correction was deep, but it never threatened the structure. It bottomed near $1.485, well above $1.436, and the main uptrend was never invalidated.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE INTERNAL TREND
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where the idea actually lives. From that low price printed an MSS around $1.64 — the first internal break — and has since produced two consecutive iBOS, the first through $1.785 and the second through the September 23 high.
That is a full internal trend running inside the larger one, with its own ascending structure and its own defended low. Price is now at $1.846.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE KEY LEVELS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
IFVG — $1.745 – $1.785
The inverted fair value gap left behind by the last internal break. Old resistance, now the first demand beneath price, and it sits directly on the ascending trendline.
Internal Protected Low — $1.668
The low the internal trend is built on. While price holds above it, the correction is finished and the structure is in continuation.
BSL — $2.031
The September 9 spike high. Untouched since it printed, and the only pool of buy-side liquidity above price.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE BIAS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Bullish. The internal trend is intact and the draw is upward.

$GRVT As the network restarted on Wednesday, Cosmos Hub validators withdrew 1,227,121 ATOM, worth around $2.1 million, from the wallet of the exploiter of Neutron.
The chain recorded the move as an event in block 33,086,741 and the owner of the wallet signed nothing.
A 168,990-token refund slipped out to Osmosis after the restart
Tokens are now sitting at cosmos1z8pq5c, which no key has ever signed for. No one has been named by validators or the Cosmos Hub team as controlling it.
The hub was frozen by validators Tuesday at 11:18 UTC, and was unfrozen Wednesday at 12:00 UTC. The Hub team had flagged an upcoming network change the day before, targeted at the ATOM the exploiter had parked on its chain.
The team says its own chain was never compromised, and only Neutron assets were affected.
At 12:07 UTC, a THORChain vault sent 168,990 ATOM to the wallet from an order that never fully executed. A 500,000-ATOM send to Osmosis followed at 12:09 UTC and bounced, as the wallet held about a third of that.
On-chain records indicate that the owner bridged the refunded 168,990 ATOM to the Osmosis address of the same key at 17:54 UTC.
Cosmos Hub on X announced the network restart at 12.00 UTC on September 23, 2026.
A $20,199 vote bought admin control of 10 Astroport and Drop contracts
The money came from Neutron proposal 9, filed Sept. 19 on the expedited track, taking three days and requiring 67% to pass. The proposal claimed to be research into allowing AI agents to run a test network.
The payload contained 11 MsgUpdateAdmin messages, each specifying the proposer’s own key as admin. The on-chain data shows that 81.88% voted yes when the tally was run at 02:24 UTC on Sept. 22.
Most of those yes votes were bought at the last minute, on-chain analyst Rarma found. One account had voted yes while holding only about 100 NTRN, then spent 20,199 USDC on 31.6 million more and staked them less than 12 minutes before voting ended.
The purchase, which was mostly made from Astroport pools that the attacker drained soon after, cost about $0.00064 per token. Rarma estimated the entire bonded stake of Neutron at around $113,000, guarding contracts that held about $9.4 million.
Eight of the targeted contracts belonged to Astroport and two to Drop. The attacker swapped in custom code on 10 of the 11 from 02:38 UTC, leaving only the Astroport Treasury, and drained those in 24 minutes.
As of Tuesday, Rarma’s number put only about $1.96 million of the take on live chains, with the rest immobilized. Neutron’s last block was at 07:43 UTC on Tuesday and the chain is still halted.
According to Cryptopolitan, Cronos validators rolled their chain back following an estimated $75 million exploit at Tectonic in August. Also that month, a bug in an EVM component used by multiple Cosmos chains forced TAC to freeze its network.

$GRVT Cosmos Hub resumed block production at 12:00 UTC after validators installed Gaia v28.3.0 and applied a one-time state change at the halted height of 33,086,741, according to a Cosmos Hub Forum update. The restart enabled the transfer of 1,227,121 ATOM remaining in an address tied to the Neutron attacker into recovery custody.
The network interruption lasted about 24 hours and 48 minutes, based on block timing reported after the restart by PrimeXBT. Cosmos Hub said it was not directly exploited in the underlying incident.
Gaia v28.3.0 restart ends the halt at block 33,086,741
Validators coordinated the software upgrade and state change before block production restarted. The intervention occurred while the chain was halted, allowing the network to address ATOM that had arrived on the Hub from the attacker-linked address.
The roughly 25-hour pause was precautionary, according to the reported sequence of events. The available updates do not describe a direct compromise of Cosmos Hub’s own systems; rather, the Hub’s response focused on funds connected to the separate Neutron incident.
Recovery multisig receives 1,227,121 ATOM from the attacker address
Following the restart, the 1,227,121 ATOM still held at the Neutron attacker’s address was moved to a 4-of-6 recovery multisig, Cosmos Hub validators reported in the forum update. The transfer was the immediate on-chain result of the coordinated restart process.
The update identifies the multisig’s approval threshold but does not provide further detail on the eventual handling or distribution of the recovered ATOM.
Neutron governance proposal created the cross-chain exposure
Cosmos Hub’s account describes a deceptive Neutron governance proposal that gave an attacker administrative control over contracts. The attacker used that control to drain protocol funds and transfer ATOM to Cosmos Hub through IBC.
The Hub said it was not itself exploited, distinguishing the Neutron governance attack from its own role in the response.
The cross-chain transfer put attacker-linked ATOM on Cosmos Hub and was followed by a halt and recovery action.
