Flow: Embrace Network Rollback Abandonment, Opting for an Isolation-first Approach to Gradually Restore Network
BlockBeats News, December 29th, Flow's official announcement on the attack incident update, abandoning network rollback/reorganization, partners do not need to replay transactions, legitimate users' activities will be preserved, over 99.9% of accounts are unaffected, and will operate normally after the restart. The Flow Foundation, together with ecosystem partners, has developed a revised recovery plan, directly negotiated with bridge operators, exchanges, and infrastructure partners.
The network will recover in stages:
Phase One: Cadence environment goes live, EVM temporarily restricted (read-only)
Phase Two: Rhythm adjustment (approximately 24-48 hours)
Phase Three: EVM repair and re-enablement
Phase Four: Bridge restoration passage, the specific recovery schedule will be determined by the operator based on actual conditions after confirming stability.
