Tom Lee's Fund Analyst: Bitcoin Could Fall to $60,000 to $65,000 and Ethereum to $1,800 to $2,000 in the First Half of 2026

BlockBeats News, December 20th, Fundstrat's Cryptocurrency Strategy Director Sean Farrell, under the umbrella of Tom Lee, stated in the "2026 Cryptocurrency Outlook" report, "While I believe that Bitcoin and the entire crypto market still have strong long-term bullish factors, and the support driven by liquidity is expected to emerge in 2026, we may still need to digest several risks in the first/second quarter of 2026, which may bring more attractive entry points."

My baseline assessment is: a more obvious decline will occur in the first half of 2026. Bitcoin may fall to $60,000–$65,000, Ethereum may fall to $1,800–$2,000, and SOL may fall to $50–$75. These price levels will provide better opportunities for positioning before the end of the year. If this assessment proves to be incorrect, I still lean towards maintaining a defensive posture, waiting for confirmation signals of a strengthening trend. Bitcoin's year-end target is around $115,000, and Ethereum's year-end target may reach $4,500.

In this framework, the relative strength of ETH will be more pronounced. I believe this is reasonable, as Ethereum has more favorable structural fund flow characteristics, including: no miner selling pressure, unaffected by factors related to MSTR, and relatively lower concerns about quantum risk."
